Hildesheimer vintage christmas gifts for him and book illustrationsA beautiful gently faded lithographic print entitled" Want to see the wheels go around" and depicts a little girl looking into a grandfather clock. We love the huge palm as well. The print has an ethereal, almost ghostly feel about it. It was printed in 1890 by Siegmund Hildesheimer. The 1881 census lists his occupation as Picture Importer, although, according to trade directories, he sold gilt mouldings, published oleographs, chromos and Christmas
